Floods & Protests done quickly

Both Brazil and Australia have been suffering horrific floods in recent times.

As I spoke about in my last post the weather and/or natural disasters affect a lot of people. The last I had heard the death toll in Brazil has now risen above 600 and 1 dog shown on the news. That particular video showed how terrifying floods/mudslides can be. Dogs are notoriously good, strong swimmers and yet when the owner couldnt hold on anymore, the dog never even resurfaced.

I have a friend in Australia at the moment and spoke to her the other day, it seems Australias floods are affecting lower levels due to increased rainfall but she is ok.

I hope both areas are alleviated of their problems soon and there is minimal more loss of life.

Onto Tunisia, Wah!! Now thats how you protest!! I dont know many details on this subject other than the Tunisian population weren't happy with the corrupt government so decided to do something about it.
Since the protests started the president announced on 14 January he was stepping down "temporarily". He then fled to Saudi Arabia with his family - France reportedly rejected a request for his plane to land there.
But the protests havent been organized by any individual, it has all been done through social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook.
British authorities have advised that noone should travel there even though no threats have been made to tourists out there.
One traveller spoke about his return trip that he could see tanks as his plane took off.

Thats all I can say on this matter but I will write again soon.
